Garden Inspiration offers a bespoke garden design and landscape construction service around Malvern, Colwall, Ledbury, Worcester, Hereford, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Chepstow, Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds. Established in 1999 the business focuses on design orientated garden development from conception through to completion with horticultural expertise. The company has been awarded two prestigious RHS medals for Show and Festival Gardens at the Malvern Spring Show in 2016, 2018. In 2016 it won Best Festival Garden. Both gardens appeared on BBC Gardeners World for their sustainable design ethos and relevance to ‘every-day’ gardens.
The garden design-work undertaken by Christian is becoming more and more influenced by sustainability to help reduce the impact of carbon emissions when constructing the garden (less concrete- more planting , especially trees). The design incorporates practical solutions to relieve the increasing extremes of climate events such as heat, drought, flood-risks. With carefully considered design these issues can be mitigated to some extent without necessarily increasing the cost of the project.
Designing with biodiversity in mind is also an important aspect of new garden thinking. Linking your garden to the local environment is often overlooked.
